My Choice of Occupation

Ever since I was a kid, I had a liking of animals. There was once that I dreamt to be a veterinarian so that I am able to take good care many different types of animals. I particularly liked dogs a lot that whenever I had a chance to visit my cousins in Malaysia, I would always took opportunities to play with their dogs and I never got tired of it. There were other reasons that I wanted to be a veterinarian. There was once that my friends scared away a stray cat that I stopped him and pushed him away to prevent him to further scare the cat away. Another reason was that I saw a dying dog lying lifelessly on the ground and I quickly brought to a nearby vet to examine it and found that the dog was ill and had to stay there for a few days. When I came after a few days later, I was delighted that the dog was finally recovered.
In order to qualify to be a fully veterinarian, I have to study under veterinary medicine and extensive veterinary other animal- related experience so that I would be awarded for the Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine. A veterinarian determines of the botulism disease-causing agent; produced an anticoagulant used to treat human heart disease and developed surgical techniques for humans such as hip-joint replacement and limb and transplants. I have planned to study things relating to animals and medicine that are used to cure the illness of the animals after I have graduated from schools and polytechnics.

My View On The Chong Boon School Views

About my views on Chong Boon schools rules, I think that some of them are not really able to control our students as some of the rules Chong Boon students have already broken the rules. As sometimes, I went go late, I would always see some of the recognized faces and they were smoking in their uniforms even they were at the public. They treated as though it was nothing and they would continue smoking outside the school and some of them were caught and got punished by the discipline masters. But they did not learn their lessons and continue to break the rules of Chong Boon.
The teachers in the school were also very particular about the hair and the attire of the students. There would get them to look for them and if they were not happy about it, they would get the students to cut their hair and also the teachers would normally tell the girls to pull their skirts longer as it looked very inappropriate in the school. I had seen many of these incidents a number of times and the students would not really care about it and did the same thing all over again.
And for the attendance of the students, people will sometimes late for the school and they would given some chances and if they had spoiled their chance and keep repeating the same mistake, they will be taken to pride time but in my opinion, the idea is not sufficient and effective at all because some students would like to play truants and keep repeating it and made it as a habit so I thought that the rule was not good enough.
During the break time, we would for our foods but some of the seniors would take the authority and took advantages of the younger students and cut the queue and the handbook had mentioned that they would be taken into pride but it was no use as they would keep repeating it again.
Lastly, a lot of people who often got bullied by his or her friends would have some idea of joining a gang but they would get poor records into their pupils records but it was no use of doing it as more students who thought that they were being bullied by others would have some idea in joining the gang and the numbers of them keep increasing and increasing.

Reflection On Singapore Flyer

When I first learnt that there is an excursion to the Singapore Flyer, I was filled with excitement that I could not sleep on that night. When the day arrived, we had two way transports which fetch us to Marina where the Singapore Flyer was. When we were about a few meters before we reached there, I could see a round shape wheel which was common as the ferry wheel, I thought it was nothing but when we reached there, I was surprised that it was as tall as a high storey level buildings. So I was expecting that I would be having lots of fun during the ride in the capsule and appreciate the beautiful scenery of Singapore. We were found out that we were the first group to be taking the ride. Each of us was given a ticket in order to get us through the checkpoint and we made our way to the most exciting part of my life. But I was having butterflies in my stomach as my whole body is shaking with fear because this was the first time to take the ‘flight’ and it was so tall.
The place was big and covered with a small rainforest. There was also a mini-cave which allowed us to pass through and the rocks were as hard as the other stones that can be found in mountains. I could also see the capsule right in front of my eyes and the capsule is comfortable and cooling. I could hear small whispers of the birds and the sound of waterfalls coming down in very strong forces.
I had learnt that Singapore is getting richer and richer because of their economies growth and they had built so many buildings to satisfy the people to work on a good environment and there were trying to build more roads and factories to increase the economies growth. When during the ‘flight’, I was feeling a bit nervous as the capsule started to go higher but I had a spectacular view on the scenery of Singapore and I stared in wonderment because of Singapore cleanliness that I was proud in which they improved over the years. Inside the capsule, I could see many of my classmates taking photographs of Singapore and joking with some of my classmates and I could see that they were having a lot of fun while taking the ride. After the ride, I thought that I could take the ride for another round as I thought that the duration of the ride was short but it had met all my expectations at the Singapore Flyer.
I remembered a funny incident which happened to both of my classmates and my English teacher. As there were two of my classmates that had acrophobia, they quickly sat down without looking down of the capsule and another of my classmate told one of them that he was a girl and he quickly agreed with him which made some of us laugh as he was too afraid of height that he was sprouting nonsense. When we reached the maximum point of the ride, one of them was so afraid that he did not want anyone to touch him and told us if we touched him, he would throw us down from the capsule. Another thing happened was when we were descending, our teacher told us not to look up as we were able to see the female students shirts so she made many actions to tell them to cover their shirts and her actions made us laugh heartily. So if you ask me whether I want to go to the Flyer again, my answer will be definitely a ‘YES’. I think that the trip will be worth going for learning experiences and having fun with your friends or families. I would definitely tell my friends to go to the Flyer to have some experiences and have a better view on our island to show them how Singapore is progressing during the past and now. (670) words
